The icicles that defy gravity.

Below is a photo of icicles on a tree in my yard.   What happened?  I’m open to  scientific, quantum physic, dull, imaginative, ridiculous, and fantasy type of answers.  Go, have fun with this.

  1. You caught on camera the extremely shy Ice Man reaching out to scratch the itch on the arch of his foot!

Thinking he was alone Ice Man was finding his way out of the tree limbs, reaching with his long cool fingers past the prickly pines so he could get that nasty itch. when…..SNAP….your camera sounded and he froze in place.

If you put your ear to the ground I’m sure you can hear him grumbling about the arch of his foot still tickling like mad.

  2. Ah yes, it is the bearded ice tree… a phenomenon that happens only once every 39 years where a tree goes an ice beard and sideburns. The trunk also has bell-bottoms but you can’t see them in the photo. Give peace a chance.
